Exodus Travels is currently looking for a Regional Operations Manager to join our brand new DMC team in London. The iDMC (internal Destination Management Company) team will be responsible for the running of directly operated Exodus and our sister company Headwater trips in western Europe (both group tours and self-guided trips), and for expanding the capability to take on the operations of more product for Exodus and Headwater as well as other brands or businesses.
What will you do?
Working closely with Exodus’ product and customer operations teams, and Headwater’s sales and product teams, the Regional Operations Manager will be responsible for product planning, quality and cost, leader and reps, and day to day operations within their region (France or Northern Italy & Austria).
Some of your responsibilities will include managing supplier relationships, providing product proposals, quoting trip costs and ensuring quality management, and there will be shared responsibilities for leaders and reps in your region.
Who are you?
You’ve got experience in operations and/or product management, to include contracting with suppliers, and you have excellent people skills as you will need to build good working relationships with suppliers and staff. You speak French or Italian (depending on the region you manage) and you have excellent written skills. You’re able to prioritise your workload whilst maintaining a flexible and proactive approach to your responsibilities, whether you’re working autonomously or as part of a team. An interest in active holidays and good travelling experience is a distinct advantage.
