Job Title: International Partnerships Development Manager

Remuneration: Competitive Salary + Bonus + Free International Travel + Share Option Scheme

We're looking for an experienced Development Manager/Sales and Marketing Manager with extensive experience of delivering growth and developing mutually beneficial partnerships. This is a hands-on role within an established company, leading Choose a Challenge’s Sales and Marketing efforts through collaborations with good causes  and other key partners across the UK, Republic of Ireland and the USA. Choose a Challenge are an accredited B Corp™ and we are the pioneers of student challenge event fundraising and the largest operator of student challenge events in the countries where we operate. As part of the brand’s ambitious strategic plan, The International Partnerships Development Manager will be responsible for managing a small team of fantastic graduate staff, coordinating and growing all of Choose a Challenge’s student Sales and Marketing activities across all territories. In addition, the Partnerships Development Manager will be responsible for personally driving growth in other areas where Choose a Challenge has developed presence.

What we're looking for from you:

  • Great people skills, with experience of managing complex partnerships with multiple external stakeholders in the non-profit sector
  • Robust knowledge of the principles of sales and marketing in B2B and B2C contexts
  • Passionate about the power of challenge events to benefit customers, communities and causes
  • Ability to maintain existing partnerships whilst adding new ones that deliver mutual benefit
  • A strategic mind, coupled with a willingness to roll up sleeves and get involved hands-on
  • A track record of recruiting, training and motivating sales/development teams to achieve stretching goals
  • Comfortable with 'Tech' - you don't have to be a Tech Wizard but you must be able to demonstrate the use of commonly available software to develop efficient workflows
  • Taking ownership of your workload and use your extensive problem-solving abilities to overcome obstacles you encounter in the course of your work
  • A willingness to travel extensively during certain periods to meet with various stakeholders face-to-face
