Our Bristol team is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to support the office and the Directors of the business, enabling the growth of Swoop.
Who are we?
Swoop Travel is a 30 person (and growing) travel company, specialising in trips to the ends of the earth; extraordinary destinations that provide our customers with incredible experiences and lifelong memories.
We don’t just work in the adventure travel industry, we live, sleep, eat and breathe all things travel and adventure. Our passion is what drives our success, and although there’s plenty of socials, destination trips and fun - we work hard and we love what we do. If you don’t dream of your next travel adventure or have regular weekend plans to be out in the fresh air and the wilderness then maybe we’re not quite the right fit for you.
What you’ll be doing
Every day in this role will be varied. One moment you’ll be working on a strategic website project with the directors, and the next coordinating a Skype meeting for the local and remote Swoop teams.
You’ll work closely with the Managing Director and Commercial Director, making their working lives easier, more organised and more efficient. You’ll support them with proactive diary management, travel arrangements and work with them on strategic projects.
Additionally, every ship needs a Captain, and our office needs you at the helm. We operate across two Bristol locations, and we have a remote sales team, based in Argentina, New Zealand and North America. You’ll keep the office functions running smoothly, coordinate communications, facilitate socials and enable our team to do what they do best.
Who you’ll be
For this to work, you’re going to need to be a lover of organisation and a complete ‘all rounder’, who thrives on pressure and loves the feeling of a productive day’s work. Super organised, a great communicator and the ability to see when there is a more efficient way to do things.
You’ll need to have worked previously in an EA or PA capacity, ideally within an SME - so you’ll have first hand experience, and a love of working within a fast paced entrepreneurial environment.
