This really is a winter job with a difference, and it would be fair to say it might be one of the few of its kind on offer in the industry.

As a 'Ski Host / Snowshoe Walk Organiser' in the Italian Dolomites, you would spend half of your time out on the hill with our guests, hosting ski and snowshoe days.

The other half of your time is spent in the chalet alongside other team members as a general host, partaking in a varied range of tasks including domestic chores, airport transfers and most importantly, being a source of local knowledge and helping guests sort out their walking or skiing plans for the next day.

Above all else, this is a very genuine hospitality role, and if you are a people person, it can be very rewarding. You need to love spending time with our guests as much as you do spending time on the mountain.

With a very high rate of returning staff, we are particularly keen to hear from those interested in coming back to work a summer season in one of our many European locations as a ‘Walk Organiser’.

Late November until mid-April


Experience Required

Hill walking and Navigation - Experience of walking in hilly or mountainous terrain, confident with map reading and general outdoor navigation skills.
Outdoor qualifications are a bonus but not essential.

Skiing - You need to be a proficient skier, confident on any grade of groomed piste and happy to accompany groups of mixed ability guests.

Driving - Full driving license with at least 1 years’ experience.
You would need to be confident about driving a nine-seat minibus on mountain roads in winter conditions.

Qualifications & other paperwork needed:

  • EU passport
  • First Aid Certificate in date

The Package

As well as a competitive weekly wage, we provide you with a full Superski Dolomiti Ski season pass, ski and boot hire, all meals (except for one evening meal on the main day off) accommodation, travel to and from resort, medical insurance, and a two week period of orientation and training at the start of the season. You would need to be available for the whole season, which runs from late November until mid-April.
