Trade Sales Support

As part of our trade team, you will work alongside our experienced Custom Trip Designers to ensure that our trade partners from across the globe receive well-written, inspiring trip proposals. You will also be responsible for updating booking information on our CRM system and preparing client information documents.

Key Accountabilities
  • Creating well written and inspiring trip proposals and ensuring the pricing is accurate to maintain the correct margins
  • Ensuring all relevant client information is recorded and maintained in our CRM systems
  • Compiling all client travel documentation making sure the information is accurate and clear
Key Responsibilities
  • Composing well written and inspiring trip proposals which showcase the adventures and experiences we can offer, inspiring agents to book their clients to travel with us
  • Assisting with pricing custom proposals, by gathering all supplier costs and feeding them into our pricing documents
  • Maintaining up to date and accurate information on our CRM system to ensure the smooth running of our departures
  • Compilation of client travel documentation to ensure our clients have a seamless travel experience from pre to post departure
  • Support our adventure consultants with processing new bookings to ensure timely and accurate responses to our client enquiries
  • Supporting the wider sales team with different tasks depending on the needs of the business
Essential role specific Skills, Knowledge & Experience (in addition to those listed on the main careers page)
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills and a passion for writing
  • Practical experience of some of the activities offered by Wilderness Group, as well as some classic UK travel experiences, would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of England and Wales and can confidently describe it - knowledge of Scotland would be beneficial but not essential

Operations Coordinator

You will have responsibility for the considered and precise logistics on any given trip departure within your allocated set of departures.  You will collaborate with sales, operations, guides and external suppliers to ensure the seamless trip delivery to our clients.It should be noted that Wilderness England is a start up business. Whilst the role is operations focused, you will be required to flexibly work in other areas of the business to support future growth and development. Such areas include but are not limited to sales, product development and general business administration.

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure all of your departures are planned and logistically set up for successful delivery in the season
  • Supporting and implementing any changes required on any of the departures throughout the season.
  • Action any necessary amendments / enhancements to your departures based on client or guide feedback
  • Ensure all financial aspects of your trip are reconciled post departure
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the management of relationships with partners and suppliers through clear and timely communications
  • Make and cross check necessary reservations with accommodation, transport and other service providers
  • Efficiently process bookings as requested by the sales team to ensure that client requests are met and fulfilled in a timely manner
  • Proactively deal with any client / guide requests arising before or during trips within your allocated set of departures
  • Reactively support the operations team as required with unforeseen circumstances that impact trip delivery
  • Improve existing itineraries through your own experience as well as feedback received from clients and  guides.
  • Providing an exceptional level of client care at all times
  • Work with the Stores Manager to ensure trips are prepped and ready to go during the season.
  • Prepare pre departure information for and liaise with our guides to ensure they are prepped for their upcoming adventure
Essential role specific Skills, Knowledge & Experience (in addition to those listed on the main careers page)
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience gained within the travel and tourism industry, ideally in tour operations
  • Detailed knowledge of England and the travel and tourism industry, ideally possessing a great understanding of the adventure travel sector
  • Experience of dealing with all parts of the tourism supply chain including accommodation, transport and other service providers
  • Practical experience of all or most of the activities offered by Wilderness England would be an advantage
  • A genuine interest and passion for the regions where Wilderness England operates, wild places and adventure
