Passionate about cultural exchange and enabling young people to engage with local communities (and vice-versa!)... ?
We're looking for paid assistant leaders to facilitate incredible cultural exchange and community engagement experiences for teams in East Africa and Sri Lanka in 2020.
Inspire Worldwide are a small, independent organisation, specialising in setting up long-term sustainable links between UK schools and our link charities overseas.
We have short term paid contracts (3 weeks) for leaders and assistant leaders available that can fit alongside your full time job.
6 weeks experience on rural community projects (ideally in Africa/Asia)
Experience leading or managing teams of young people
Passion for cultural exchange and knowledge of international development
REC 2 (or willing to obtain this)
We are also very keen to hear from applicants with experience of working with women and girls in an international context and in running participatory workshops.

Our next assessment and recruitment day is on the 5th January at our office in Bramley, Hants.
The majority of our trips are in June-August, with a few in October. You must be able to attend our 2 day training in London on 7-8 March. These are paid positions, you will need to have or be willing to gain a REC 2 outdoor first aid qualification, as well as an Enhanced DBS check.
