The position of Destination Manager requires a resourceful, motivated and experienced project manager with a passion for the adventure travel industry and the development of young people through experiential learning.
You will need experience of risk management in outdoor and / or travel environments, as well as travel experience through the developing world, specifically within Asia.
You will be working at our office in Bangor and will be part of a busy team focused on making sure that Outlook leads the sector in providing safe, well-managed and innovative overseas experiences.
You will be working extensively with overseas partners, as well as interacting and supporting other teams based regionally and at Outlook’s head office – to do this well you will need to have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and have a comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
To plan, develop and maintain high quality expedition itineraries and products which:
• Meet customer needs and deliver high quality expedition experiences
• Can be presented to customers at a cost in line with market price
• Adhere to strict safety management standards
To provide destination and itinerary specific advice and information to all stakeholders.
